Officers Foreign service red serge jacket 1896 pattern. Red mid length serge jacket with 5 regimental buttons lining the front. There are 3 buttons on either shoulder with the same 62nd regimental buttons attaching the shoulders and lapels. There are 2 small slits up the back of the jacket to help aid movement with crest buttons- one on either collar. Due to the white collar and white cuffs on either sleeve it is clear that it is a serge jacket.This item originates from the collection at Bodmin Keep Musuem, Cornwall, UK.
