Yamato Class – WW2 Japanese Battleship

Yamato class was a battleship designed and used by the Japanese empire during the second world war, the ship costruction started during 1937, was deployed during 1941 after Pearl Harbor attack and was finally destroyed during the battle of Okinawa by a massive bombing. After the Japan retreat of the League Of Nations during 1934 the Yamato class entered in design as a heavy battleship secret project, designed to fight multiple enemies at time, recognizing the Japanese industrial disadvantage compared with the United States. The Yamato had two principal designs the first was the 1941 which counted with 33 large caliber cannons but a poor AA defenses and the final 1945 design which counted with 39 large caliber cannons and an important improvement of AA defenses. The model is based in the Yamato 1945 version, was made by using blender and textured using substance painter. Counts with 54 texture materials. It was made detailed enough for close renders and videogames.
