Meet “X-Blade”. Designed from the ground up using the original T-70 series X Wing, the X-Blade boasts higher performance than its predecessors with a prototype minaturised engine, allowing for faster top speeds in a slimer profile at the expense of range. Added wing stabilisers improves the overall handling in space and in atmosphere, the updated intake system allows passive charge of ions into the engines for recharging however it is not sustainable for high performance flight.As a unique feature to the X-Blade, it comes equiped with 6 high density resonant wave cannons, 4 on the wing tips and 2 mounted into the nose. Due to the nature of the cannons they have a charge down time after each shot and consume a large amount of power. They are exceptional at dropping shields.Designed to lock into the Hull are two droid compartments for quick deployment of utility droids. Each droid can be replaced out with variations for different tasks i.e. Repair Droid, Sentry, Scout etc.
