The topic inspired me straight away, but I didn’t want to make a pirate’s treasure chest or something similar and the idea of filling a time capsule with the treasures of someone from the 90s (like me) came to me pretty quickly. I got down to it soon and modeled the scene. After a break and holidays, I stumbled upon the submission from Marcus Ryéll. After that I wanted to stop. But by then there was already too much time in it and I pulled through. As a 3d artist you already have enough unfinished projects lying around: DI filled the box with various things from my childhood in germany. You can see it on the soccer stars and the cover of the German magazine “Bravo” :)I modeled everything in 3ds max and then textured it with Photoshop and Substance Painter.
