“The Lake of True Desire!” It is a short story about Lily who discovered something fantastic in the forest.This is my most favorite personal project so far. It was not what I wanted to make in the begining! I thought I would make illustration of a robot playing with a paper boat by a lake and the story developped into this entirely different thing! Crazy!Thanks to this challenge I could venture in the nice and cute world of childrens book illustrations. During this almost 2 week long project I studied different artist’s artworks. I must mention Kim Min Ji, Heikala, Kasia Nowowiejska and many more. Their works helped me a lot in deciding for a style since I was clueless about this childrens book illustration thing.The scene was created in Blender. Almost all of the texturing was done in clip studio paint. Sketchfab, thank you so much for the art spotlight!
