A Dyson Sphere is an hypothetical megastructure described in 1960 by the American-British physicist and mathematician, eponymous Freeman Dyson, in a short article published in the journal Science entitled Search for Artificial Stellar Sources of Infrared Radiation. This astro-engineering structure consists of a sphere of matter, artificial and hollow, located around a star and designed to capture almost all the energy emitted for industrial use. Ref Wikipedia.
