This is the main character from my University course short film, Motherboard.My film takes place in the future, and focuses on a woman who is involved in a serious road accident and abducted by a company that produces prototype weapons. Her brain is used as a computer to run a robotic body, but during testing, she wakes up and attempts to escape.Excluding the tutorial skulpt we did, this is my first ever skulpt. Bar her joints, she was designed and modelled in Zbrush, and retopologised, unwrapped, rigged and animated in Maya, textured in Substance painter.This is probably my first ever complete asset, and I’m very proud of how much I learned in one year. There are of course issues, especially in terms of topology – needs more hold edges but I was being overly conservative on polycount – and height mapping.The film is available at https://youtu.be/auUiFFbt18g
