My contribution to the #AngelsAndDemonsChallenge with this Hellboy version of mine. It’s been a long time since I wanted to work on this character from Mignola being a huge fan of his work.At the exact same time i started working on this model, the challenge went live, so it was the occasion to participate. I don’t know if it’s okay since i didn’t create the original character to begin with, but the overall redesign, posing and sculpting is mine, so i’m trying anyway !I used Zbrush and maya for the sculpt/modeling part and substance painter for the baking. I also wanted too stay light on the details to keep the stylized design intact and not fall into hyperrealism.I’m working on a full textured version wich should be live in a couple of days.Anyway, i hope you like it and i wish the best of luck to everyone for this challenge :)Cheers.
