Fn Fiveseven Pistol 3d Model
This digital rendition of the FN Five-seven transcends a mere surface model, presenting an intricately deconstructed schematic that reveals its inner workings with remarkable clarity, even as it cleverly prevents functional replication. This meticulously crafted project offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore the complex engineering behind one of the most distinctive semi-automatic pistols ever produced. Every component, from the polymer frame to the smallest internal pin, has been accounted for and artistically presented in an exploded view, providing a comprehensive visual study.
Fn Fiveseven Pistol 3d Model – Unveiling the Iconic FN Five-seven
The FN Five-seven, a product of FN Herstal in Belgium, quickly established itself as a revolutionary firearm, designed as a companion to the equally innovative P90 submachine gun. Its design philosophy emphasizes lightweight construction, utilizing a robust polymer frame alongside a generous magazine capacity. Shooters appreciate its ambidextrous controls and notably low recoil, making it a highly controllable weapon. Furthermore, certain cartridge types enable it to penetrate body armor, a capability that sets it apart in the pistol market.
This model pays homage to the weapon’s distinctive profile. While the external proportions of the pistol maintain their authentic design, the internal components have undergone thoughtful adjustments. This ensures the model serves its educational and artistic purpose without facilitating the creation of a working firearm, a critical consideration in its development.
Fn Fiveseven Pistol 3d Model – A Masterclass in Digital Engineering
This schematic build exemplifies a profound understanding of 3D modeling principles and a dedicated study into both 3D printing methodologies and advanced Maya driven key aspects. The artist, Chuh Hsien, invested significant time and expertise into bringing this complex vision to life. The project served as a comprehensive exploration of how individual parts interact within a mechanical assembly, pushing the boundaries of digital representation.
Creating such a detailed exploded view demands immense precision and patience. Each part requires individual modeling and careful placement within the larger schematic. The intentional misalignment and dis-proportioning of internal elements represent a deliberate design choice, showcasing the artist’s ability to manipulate form for specific conceptual and ethical objectives. The resulting FN Five-seven pistol 3d model stands as a testament to diligent digital craftsmanship.
Deconstructing Complex Mechanics

Credit to our staff Chuh Hsien*Note: This model, while all component accounted for, have been intentionally misaligned and dis-proportioned in order to prevent a functional 3d printed model.Note*2: You may want to wait till all texture are loaded before viewing its animation. The FN Five-seven, is a semi-automatic pistol designed and manufactured by FN Herstal in Belgium.Developed as a companion pistol to the P90, the Five-seven shares many of its design features: it is a lightweight polymer-based weapon with a relatively large magazine capacity, ambidextrous controls, low recoil, and the ability to penetrate body armor when using certain cartridge types. We made this a while back as a study in both 3d printing and driven key aspect of Maya.the gun itself is well proportioned while the internal component are tweaked.Feel free to browse inside for all the parts. This was a really time-consuming project.
