Rapid take-off is achieved with JATO bottle rockets and weapons are stored internally. A deployable periscope is used during landing and takeoff for better aerodynamics.Inspired originally by the unbuilt Republic Aviation XF-103 “Thunderwarrior” interceptor and several cold-war era cruise missiles.
