Brățara spiralică de aur nr. 1

Spiral Gold Bracelet 3d Model - Detailed 3D model of the Brățara spiralică de aur nr. 1, an ancient Dacian spiral gold bracelet captured via photogrammetry.

Spiral Gold Bracelet 3d Model

The remarkable Brățara spiralică de aur nr. 1 defies simple categorization, presenting an intriguing paradox where its impressive 2.88-meter gold bar length results in a weight under 1 kilogram, distinguishing it from shorter, heavier counterparts. This unique characteristic immediately highlights the specialized craftsmanship behind this ancient Dacian artifact, inviting closer examination of its historical and material significance. Its detailed digital capture offers an unparalleled opportunity for study and appreciation.

Spiral Gold Bracelet 3d Model – Unraveling Ancient Craftsmanship

Archaeological evidence suggests a sophisticated, albeit non-standardized, production process shaped the Brățara spiralică de aur nr. 1. Multiple artisans likely contributed to its creation within the same workshop, adapting their techniques primarily to the specific characteristics of each gold ingot. This bespoke approach explains the observed variations in weight, diameter, and the number of spirals across different examples.

Despite the lack of serial standardization in every stage, a shared artistic identity is undeniable. Identical stamps used for creating the palmette decorations appear on various specimens, even those purportedly discovered in different hoards. This fact strongly indicates a common origin from a single master workshop, underscoring a consistent artistic vision despite the individualized production methods.

Seller Original Description
