Year/estimated time period: 1896 Short form description: A black waistcoat with brass detailing. Long form description: A black waistcoat, designed to go over a shirt and under a coat. The front of the waistcoat is made from a black wool, with the back being a silk, and the garment as a whole being lined with a tan cotton. The garment has a mandarin/stand-up collar with alternate hook and eyes button up. The edges of the garment are trimmed with a row of decorative brass bead trims, and is further decorated with a swirled braid. The waistcoat has built in welt pockets, one either side which are also trimmed with the same decorative swirled braid. On the back, towards the bottom of the waistcoat has an adjustment buckle and ribbon. Model made by Purpose3D
