I found this cool effect when I was tinkering around with the displacement map of a cloud texture.This could be used for realtime visuals & motion design in Unreal Engine or Cinema 4D.The height of the ice crystals can be controlled with the displacement map parameter, Up to you what you do with it!In this scene I’ve added chromatic abberation and bloom to make it pop, and Filmic Tonemapping to bring out the colour.
