“El Descendimiento”, sculpted in Marble in 1887 by the Chilean sculptor Virginio Arias Cruz (1855 – 1941). This sculpture can be found in the National Museum of Fine Arts, located in Santiago de Chile. This sculpture represents the moment when Christ lying, just taken off the cross, two persons are helping him and behind, his mother, the Virgin, takes care of him. At their feet, Mary Magdalene, clinging to them with a great devotion.199 Photos taken with a Samsung Note 5, then processed with Agisoft Photoscan. In a few weeks I will scan a better one. :)
