Roman silver ring. Ring made of thick silver wire (cross section 0,3 cm) with open ends. Both ends are designed as snake heads. On the heads are engraved all detail lines (top of the head, eyes, nose, teeth), under the heads there is a scale pattern down to the lower part of the hoop, where the pattern ends with stylized snake tail. The lower part of the ring is smooth, without decoration. Silver; dm 2,2 cm; w 0,3–0,55 cm; 6,5 gr.; 1.-1. half of the 2nd century AD.Model: © Landessammlungen Niederösterreich, Niederösterreich 3D
