Photogrammetry on vintage racing cars. – Moss Monaco sportThe original Monaco model was built on the mechanical basis of a Triumph Herald or Vitesse, with nearly 100 units being sold. It was highly appreciated for its excellent value for money and for the fun it offered behind the wheel. It was built with a lot of attention to detail, and equipped with genuine 15 inch knockoff spoke wheels.Moss Motor Company started in 1982 in Sheffield (United Kingdom), under the direction of John Cowperthwaite. During the following years were launched the Malvern, Roadster, Mamba and Monaco models, all of them made with fiberglass bodies. In 1985, the company suffered one fire in the company’s facilities that destroyed molds and work tools, and production was then interrupted. In 1986 it was sold to Hampshire Classics, passing to members of the Moss Owners Club in 1987.
