Fan art from John Bond’s “Mini Rabbit: Not Lost” series of children’s books. This illustration was featured on an intro page in the first book. All original artworks belong to John Bond.This model represents my first attempt at painting textures, or even publishing a model at all! I chose the subject because I felt it was simple enough for an initial experiment and I have really enjoyed reading John Bond’s books with my kiddo. Even though the model is fairly small and simple, I learned a lot while putting it together. There are still plenty of minor mistakes in the final output which I look forward to keeping in mind on the next model.I have not settled on a process/workflow yet but but most of the modeling was done in Blender and texturing was done in Substance Painter. I imagine these preferences will be tweaked as I continue to practice.–Edit: I’ve also turned this model into a simple instagram filter if you’re interested.
