The Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the second soccer stadium in the MLS and has a total capacity of 71,000 people. It was opened in 2017 as a replacement of the Georgia Dome and is the current home of Atlanta United FC in the MLS. Despite it being a new stadium, it has still hosted several major sporting events and is set to host many more in the future.
