Update2020/03/27: -Add End Version. -Fixed Belt Textures. -Maya file texture reassigned.According to the book, it’s about 4 feet(122cm) long, and was almost made into a beer jug.Though I doubt there are blue metal and leather back in the medieval day, but hey I won’t argue with the lore in the novel. This is Hutch’s Bastard Sword, from the Dragonraja series, the first fantasy novel I’ve read, and have been the best as well. According to the book, the sword was used as an compensation for the bar tab and have been on the wall for a while.Sheath was made by Sanson’s dad on the spot as well as the belt so they look pretty new. The concept on this fly wildly on different artist so I decided to just make my own.Almost unwieldy for hutch without his ogre gauntlet. This bastard sword is the beginning of Hutch’s adventure, symbolizing the culture of Heltant. The goal is to recreate Hutch Nedval with my slight twist. There will be an severely used version at the end of Hutch’s adventure as well.
