In a gigging band? Well, if you are, you will recognise this scene. The scene you see when you arrive at the venue. No idea what’s what. An empty stage, cables all over the place – was I meant to bring all of my bits? They didn’t tell me! I thought they provided amp heads! I needed to bring my stool?! Yes. I’m sure you recognise this. As a drummer I often arrive with a millions questions and not a single person able to answer. If you’re not in a band, but frequent gigs and such…it ain’t that fabulous. But….you give it your all and you take advantage of each experience as they come.
