[email protected] After two years of gathering new equipment and more experiance, I was finally able to scan this Hazelnut Branch. It was especially hard to capture all the fine structutes without having them bonded together (in a 3D-Mesh meaning). For this 3D scan 1480 images from a Sony Alpha 7R4 were used. The raw mesh has 137 million polygons and 8000×8000 textures (Diffuse, Normal, Occlusion). The shown model has 500k Polygons and 4K Textures and was not altered or cleaned (except lowering the resolution).
